1. Consultations, Dental Screening
and Preventive Dentistry
Prevention is better than Cure, therefore we highly recommend regular 6
monthly dental check-ups, with a scale and polish (cleaning). At this visit we also
offer fissure sealants and preventive
resin restorations for kids and young adults, to prevent development of dental caries(cavities). This will ensure optimal
dental health.
A thorough screening is done at this visit by visual inspection and using
latest technology such as digital X-rays. Based
on the findings we then draw up a treatment plan go follow up visits.
2. Restorations
This is a stage where a restoration (filling) is done on a decayed or broken
tooth using composites and/glass ionomer cements. These are tooth coloured restorations.
3. Extractions
We will do an extraction as a last resort whereby the tooth is no longer
restorable. We are here to make this procedure as painless as we possibly can.
Where a tooth is badly broken down with no crown visible or the tooth is embedded under the gum(impacted) we will perform
a surgical extraction(minor surgery)
This is a procedure
to move and correct malaligned or crooked teeth and jaws into a more favourable
position. This is offered to both children and adults. We use different systems
like habit breakers, removable appliances, Myobrace appliances, conventional
braces, fastbraces and clear aligners.

with you, we make a decision on which system will best suit your needs. We are

This refers to any
dental work that is done to improve the appearance of teeth, gums and
bite. It focusses on improvement in dental aesthetics in colour, position,
size, shape, alignment and overall smile appearance. This can be achieved by teeth whitening, veneers, laser treatments and more. Teeth
whitening is the most sought after by most of our patients because scaling
and polishing (cleaning) does not whiten our teeth. Therefore we offer
different teeth whitening packages to best suit your needs. These packages will
help eliminate (outside) stains that may be caused by coffee, tea, some spices
and just general discolouration that maybe associated with ageing. We also
almost always recommend whitening after orthodontic treatment.
A root canal is a
procedure where the tooth is badly decayed to an extent where the pulp and the
nerve is infected. The infected pulp and the nerve is removed from the
root of the tooth, the root canal is cleaned and shaped and then the space is
filled and sealed. Afterwards we will place a filling or a crown to protect and
restore the tooth to its original function.
This
comprises design, manufacture and fitting of artificial prosthesis /replacement
for teeth and other parts of the mouth. This may be in a form of
dentures(false teeth), crowns, veneers, bridges and implants. Crowns are designed/made where teeth have been fractured or severely broken
down. Bridges and implants are designed for closing spaces where there are
missing teeth.
